
Panasonic has announced a new model on the Toughbook tablet series, it’s the Panasonic Toughbook CF-U1 Ultra that has a starting price of $2,800.
The new Panasonic Toughbook CF-U1 Ultra tablet boasts an Intel Atom Z530 processor at 1.6GHz, as well as a 64GB SSD – solid state drive – and a 5.6-inch touchscreen with 1024×600 pixels as the resolution and a brightness level of 6000 cd/m2. The pre-loaded operative system is obviously Windows and the extras include a fingerprint reader, a 2-megapixel camera, WiFi, bluetooth 2.1, and a slot for SD memory cards. Since it is on the Toughbook category it meets the MIL-STD-810G and IP65 standards.
