LG Cookie Zip for India

LG has recently added a new cellphone to the Indian market which is part of the Cookie lineup, and is also known as LG Cookie Zip.

In terms of features the LG Cookie Zip offers a 3-inch touchscreen that provides a resolution of 240×400 pixels, a 2-megapixel camera for photos and videos, a FM tuner and Bluetooth 2.1. In case the 72MB of internal memory aren’t enough to store all your data, there is a slot for microSD memory cards with a maximum of 4GB. Other details include CDMA EV-DO connectivity, pre-loaded software for social networks, and a price tag of approximately $180.

LG Cookie Gig GM570 Touch Phone

LG Electronics unveils another “Cookie” phone with the LG Cookie GIG GM570. It is more of a music phone that comes with features like a 3” WQVGA display, 5MP camera, a microSD card slot, 7.2 Mbps HSDPA support and Bluetooth.

There is no word yet on pricing and availability but expect AT&T to make an official announcement soon regarding this upcoming ‘Cookie’ phone.

LG Cookie Plus GS500 Unveiled

LG Electronics has lifted the covers for the LG Cookie Plus GS500, tagged as a sociable, enjoyable and affordable phone. This new successor to the previous LG Cookie phone features 3G connectivity, social networking connectivity, a full touch screen, FM tuner, 3 megapixel camera and Editable Screenshot MMS.

The LG Cookie Plus GS500 will initially be available in France and Italy this coming March in various color versions. No word on pricing but this early, the LG Cookie Plus is not expected to be a cheap phone to have.

The LG Velvet (LG Cookie Plus GS500) Launches in Italy

The LG Cookie Plus GS5500 has officially launched in Italy and it goes by the name the LG Velvet. This is the same phone that was released last February and comes with features like a 3” WQVGA touch screen display, HSDPA, 3MP camera and 50MB of internal memory.

The LG Velvet will retail for about €179 (contract free) and will come in two color versions: Black Matt and Imperial Purple.
