Remember the Nokia C5 that has just been announced last month? Well what we have here is a different device though the name is more likely the same. This new C5, or the Nokia C5-01, obviously comes slightly different in design from the previous one and features as well vary a bit.
The Nokia C5 is a candybar Symbian phone that is made for the Chinese market just like the just announced Nokia X5. Also, it will be part of Nokia’s portfolio of TD-SCDMA devices for China. Features are much larger than the old (not-so old, rather) C5 as this new C5-01 will have 2.4-inch QVGA display as compared to C5’s 2.2-inch screen size and 5-megapixel camera as compared to C5’s 3.2MP. Other features then include a front-facing camera for video calls, 3.5mm headset jack, Bluetooth, access to MM-Ovi Store, and a microSD card slot.
The Nokia C5-01 is said to be available in China on the third quarter of the year under China Mobile in black and silver colors.
