Nokia to Offer CDMA Devices Nokia 6702 Slide and Nokia 1706

Those in China who are looking for new devices would be glad to know that Nokia is offering two new CDMA cellular phones for their market. These are the Nokia 6702 Slide and the Nokia 1706, which are totally different in terms of features and design.

People in China will probably draw more interest on the Nokia 6702 Slide, which is obviously a slider phone. This is said to run on Symbian OS and features are as well interesting since it includes 2.6-inch 240 x 320 pixels LCD screen, 5-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and dual LED flash, Bluetooth, and support for USB and Java MIDP 2.0 applications.

The other phone, which is the Nokia 1706, has nothing much to offer and you can already tell, based on its candybar form factor, that this is going to be another basic device. Not much is known about this actually, but just expect basic features on this device.

Pricing and release date for both the Nokia 6702 Slide and the Nokia 1706 are not yet known as of the moment, but they are of course going to be available in China.
