Nokia N8 Now Available on Pre-Order at Amazon Germany


After being officially announced just a month ago and after being reported that it will be released on the third quarter of the year, you can now get the Nokia N8 on pre-order via Amazon Germany. Another thing is, according to Engadget, their “trusted source” said that August 24 will be the big date for the release of this Nokia N8.

This should keep mobile consumers more excited about this device, and who wouldn’t when what you would get is a Symbian^3-powered device, which is the Finnish company’s first. What’s more is that the Nokia N8 has 12-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss lens, autofocus, xenon flash, face recognition and HD 720p video recording, which another first.

The Nokia N8 is also powered by 680MHz ARM 11 processor and other features include 3.5-inch OLED widescreen display, FM radio and FM transmitter, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5mm headset jack, WLAN, Flash Lite 4.0, 16GB of internal memory, and a microSD card support.

On pre-order at Amazon Germany, the Nokia N8 is being offered for €469.50 or about $587; though on its release date, it will be sold for €370 or $465.
