The Nokia X3 is believed to be the first Series 40 Ovi Store-enabled device when it was presented since September of last year. With the coming of the X2, perhaps we can then say that this is the second Nokia S40 device to have the Ovi Store application as well. This slim music candybar phone measures only 13mm thin, and like other phones under the Xseries, this as well comes in a modern and edgy design.
The Nokia X2 may only have 2.2-inch QVGA screen, which is relatively small as compared to other devices we have today, but its other features is as good or perhaps even better as those handsets with larger screens. This will have 5-megapixel camera with flash and video recording, dedicated music buttons, 3.5mm headset jack, FM radio, dual loud speakers, Bluetooth 2.1, Nokia Messaging, Facebook integration, and a microSD card support of up to 16GB. Music management including transfer can be done through the Ovi Player PC Client or Windows Media Player 11.
All these can be yours for only €85 or about $110 by the end of June; and CCS Analyst Ben Wood says that the Nokia X2 will ship with Comes with Music in India during the 3rd quarter of the year.
